I created an immersive, intimate performance experience for the Center for Puppetry Arts' 2008 Xperimental Puppetry Theater called Auto Show, which was performed in the parking lot outside the theater before the rest of the show even began - the ultimate preshow! Auto Show was selected to appear in the 2009 Orlando International Puppet Festival.

Auto Show is a series of short puppet-centric works that are inspired by automobiles and are performed in and around audience members' vehicles soon after they park in the lot. Stories ranged from a squirrel handing out pamphlets about the dangers of squishing his brethren on the road to a driving lesson between a father and daughter to an auto accident with a big ending.

I enjoy creating intimate work like this project, that was inspired by environment and the idea of instant theater. Auto Show is available for remount opportunities. Contact me to discuss options!
